Hi everyone,

I am really sorry to say that but we are going to close the Site for some time due to personal issues.
We will try to keep you updated.

Love,
K-D Team

Kareena Kapoor surely believes in method acting but that doesn't involve taking lessons from other actors.

When it comes to taking tips from Hollywood actresses, Kareena puts her foot down.

Reportedly, Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar had asked Kareena to watch Angelina Jolie's award-winning TV film, Gia (1998), to prepare for her role. But, she showed no interest.

The actor in the Kapoor clan seems to have a penchant for direction too. After cousin Ranbir, who directed a brief sequence in his last flick, Rockstar, it was time for Kareena to don the director’s hat. The actor recently directed a scene in her next, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.

The film’s director Shakun Batra, wanted Bebo and her co-star Imran Khan to shoot a scene in Las Vegas, where they’d have to behave drunk on the streets. Apparently, he wanted natural reactions from the public without anyone realising that they were being filmed.

Aamir Khan’s next most awaited release after ’3 Idiots’ is ‘Talaash’. Trade experts reveal that Aamir Khan’s Talaash will top the most-anticipated film list of the forthcoming Bollywood release of 2012.

Fifteen top trade and industry experts were asked to name the three films of 2012 they are awaiting the most.

Number 1 film was given three points, number 2 got two points and number 3 got one point. Then these points were added up.

Eros International has announced the release dates to some of its biggest films of 2012.

The production company has revealed details of a number of upcoming films due to come out in the first quarter of next year.

Nandu Ahuja, senior vice president of India Theatrical, Eros International, said: "We have an exciting lineup for the coming year, and we are expecting these films to garner some good numbers in the first half of the year."

Snippet:

On the other hand, the two cousins who have really become very close in recent months are Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. Bebo says, "Ranbir is the brightest young actor we have.

I loved him in Rockstar." And Ranbir doesn't hesitate to name Kareena as the most talented actress.
These two also share secrets when they meet at family dos. Blood, more often than not, is thicker than water.

Apparently Kareena Kapoor isn't well- versed with the world of theatre and stage. That's what Imran Khan learnt while shooting Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Bebo in Las Vegas.

So after packing up the day's shoot, he often took her to plays, magic shows as well as magician David Copperfield's shows.

Bebo was quite hooked on Cirque du Soleil, which is a mix of circus arts and street entertainment that Vegas is famous for. And even now he keeps the Kapoor kudi updated about the plays that are happening in Mumbai.

The newest film from Dharma Productions is the Imran Khan – Kareena Kapoor starrer Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The film is the debut for director Shakun Batra. Also starring in the film are Ram Kapoor, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in supporting roles. The movie is set to release on February 10, 2012.

Synopsis:

Rahul Kapoor (Imran Khan), 26, is on his way to become a carbon copy of his parents when he suddenly loses his job as an architect in Vegas. Afraid that he has let his parents down, Rahul decides to hide the truth and find another job. When by a twist of fate, he meets Riana Braganza, a quick-witted hairstylist, who is everything he isn’t.

2011 was the year of uncountable surprises, some were pleasant and some were not the ones we were looking for. The year 2011 has been beneficial to some but has also managed to wreck the lives of many. But the year has finally passed and the film industry takes New Year resolutions of not disappointing the audience so often.

2011 had been a rocky year for the stars; let’s see if 2012 seems to be beneficial. The stakes are high as many high budget films have already been declared to release in 2012

An attempt to avoid a Kareena vs Kareena situation at the BO, when two of her films are expected to release back-to-back in February next year, seems to be underway on a war footing. While Karan Johar’s Kareena Kapoor-Imran Khan starrer Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has been scheduled for a February 10 release next year, her film Agent Vinod with beau, actor Saif Ali Khan was slated for the very next week on February 17. (Even though insiders insist that no date has been locked as yet.) But seems that keen to avoid a clash, Saif is now trying to push the release date of his maiden production further to March. However, if the release date does get pushed to March, the Bebo-Saif wedding is likely to get pushed further ahead as well.

Bollywood director, Madhur Bhandarkar was more than happy to talk to the press and the audience about his forthcoming Heroine. At the BIG Star Entertainment Awards held recently he was called to give away an important award.

And when the name announced was none other than his Heroine Kareena Kapoor he was delighted. He had no words literally to describe the talented and beautiful actress.

The film industry is abuzz with the speculation that the shooting schedule of two films, Madhur Bhandarkar's HEROINE and Balaji's ROCK THE SHAADI, has been pushed ahead. The reason being cited is, coincidentally, the same -- the leading ladies are getting married. Reportedly, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan are ready to tie the knot in February next year. Ditto for Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh, who are also getting married in February next year.

Sources close to Madhur Bhandarkar deny that Kareena's marriage has pushed the shooting of HEROINE ahead. In fact, the shooting of HEROINE is very much on schedule and the makers [Bhandarkar and UTV] have even announced the release month [September 2012].

Actors Vidya Balan, Sonu Sood and Dhanush of Kolaveri Di fame are among those who have taken early leads in the vegetarian celebrity contest, conducted by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Besides the three, other film stars in the foray are actors Amitabh Bachchan,Mallika Sherawat, Kareena Kapoor, Hema Malini and Ayesha Takia, competing for the title, India’s Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2011, organised by PETA and being conducted to promote vegetarianism among the public.

The budget for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine is shooting through the roof, and it’s not because the actors are commanding crores of rupees — it is actually the costumes that are proving to be the real bank breaker. Manish Malhotra is said to have designed over 120 costumes for Kareena Kapoor to wear over the course of the film, worth Rs 1.65 crores!

“The team is working on 120-odd costume changes for Kareena. The ultra-glamorous and expensive clothes will show Bebo at her best,” says a source.
